Just too orange and too warm. I will be studying how to manually set my camera for light exposure.

Home Again
Here again, as with the Christmas trees, I am comparing using natural light and flash. I'm trying to capture the warmth and comfort of home but I'm really not that happy with either shot. One is too glaring and the other it too orange. I can see where light really makes a difference in the quality and mood of a photograph.

Yes, setting the two side by side really shows the effects of light, something we might not really notice in posting an individual shot. Of the two, however, I would choose the second to express warmth, if that were my only one. The mind can take over from what the eyes may see...or maybe it's the heart? :)
